Randa El-Bahery meets Ashraf Zaki to solve her problem with taxes
After years of struggle, actress Randa El-Bahery sent a public plea to Ashraf Zaki, head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, regarding her ongoing tax dispute, which had been affecting her for the past seven years.
Randa El-Bahery’s Meeting with Ashraf Zaki to Address Tax Issues
Following her plea, Randa shared a photo with Ashraf Zaki, announcing progress in resolving her tax issues. She expressed her optimism, saying, “My tax problem is on its way to being resolved. I met with the Syndicate Head, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, today, and we randaelbehairyofficial agreed to have the Syndicate’s legal accountant review my case.”
She further added, “The Syndicate’s legal advisor has been assigned to take all necessary legal actions regarding the matter. A meeting with officials at the Tax Authority will be arranged soon to resolve the issue entirely. I extend my utmost respect and appreciation to all Egyptian companies.”
Randa’s Public Appeal to the Syndicate Head
Previously, Randa had shared an emotional message directed to Captain Ashraf Zaki, detailing her struggles over the past seven years. In her message, she revealed that she had been unable to work within the artistic community. Facing an unjust tax burden, despite not acting during that period. She explained, “I have always been diligent in handling paperwork and fulfilling the state’s dues. I’ve been paying taxes since 2004, and I’ve consistently followed the right path. However, I was shocked to discover that excessive taxes were being imposed on me, despite the fact that I haven’t worked in acting for years.”
Randa also expressed frustration over being repeatedly excluded from roles without explanation, adding. “I’ve been struggling for seven years without any reason. I’m frequently nominated for roles, only to be suddenly excluded without justification.”
A Call to Remain in Egypt
Randa concluded her message with a heartfelt plea to remain in Egypt, saying, “I only want to continue living my life here in Egypt. I don’t want to seek work abroad or live elsewhere. Why are you pushing us to look for our lives elsewhere? I want to stay here.”
Through this meeting with Ashraf Zaki, Randa hopes to finally resolve her tax issues and return to a more stable career path.
