A Great News for fans of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi Season 1 With Urdu Subtitles Pakistan and Turkey will jointly produce a historical drama series on the reign of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, which will premiere in March 2022.
Directors; Kashif Ansari and Junaid Ali Shah of Ansari & Shah Films, the Pakistani partners of this cooperative project, offered their thoughts over the phone with Independent Urdu.
Dr. Junaid Ali Shah, a Pakistani, says this historical series would consist of three seasons, each with 34 episodes.
As per Dr. Kashif Ansari, a physician to several well-known individuals in Pakistan and America, Akli Film, the Turkish partner on this project, has made films about several well-known individuals and historical events. In this sense, Dr. Ansari says that Ansari & Shah Films (Pakistan) and Akli Films (Turkey) have reached an understanding.
Dr. Ansari said that the historical drama series about the life and reign of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi will feature Turkish and Pakistani actors. Dr. Ansari noted that Muslims regard Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi as the most famous and revolutionary monarch in Muslim history while discussing the motivation for this drama series. The non-Muslims also exhibit respect. He said ” This series is not only for Muslims, Pakistan, and the Turkish community, but also to show the world that there was a Muslim monarch whose opponents also recognized his boldness, justice, bravery, and equality,” .
Dr. Junaid Ali Shah asserts that this historical series will educate six billion non-Muslims who are unaware of the accomplishments of Muslim monarchs.The young generation and Muslims of today, claims Dr. Kashif Ansari, have forgotten about Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, who ruled Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Diyarbakir, and Hejaz for a very long time. In order to show that Qur’anic ideals, acceptable to all religions, can rule an empire, this series will focus more on the Qur’an, history, and religious peace.
Asked why Shah and Ansari Films needed to work with a foreign company to produce this historic series, Dr. Ansari said, “Akali Films’ approach and ours are similar, and they have.” He has experience and seriousness in writing historical plays, which is why we decided to work with him on our collaborative project.
