After Ahmed Azmy and Maha Ahmed, Afef Mustafa demands work
Sultan Muhammad Fateh Season 2 Episode 18 In Urdu Subtitles
Following in the footsteps of fellow artists Ahmed Azmy and Maha Ahmed, Egyptian actress Afef Mustafa has publicly voiced her disappointment over the lack of acting opportunities, particularly in television dramas.
On her Facebook page, Afef expressed her frustration, writing:
“I hesitate to speak up because of fear of being ridiculed by a few narrow-minded individuals. Honestly, I am in a crisis in my own artistic homeland. There are 40 Ramadan series airing this year, yet for the first time, I find myself at home for reasons unknown.”
In a later post, she added:
“I have been patient with myself during these past months without work, considering them a time for reflection. But now I tell myself, ‘You’ve been sitting idle for too long.’ This is the first time I’ve gone without work for such an extended period.”
